        Day 4: From Identifying Issues to Forming Research Questions

                    --drawing on your personal experiences

              --identify what is open to dispute

              --resist binary thinking

              --build on and extend the ideas of others

              --refine your topic

              --explain your interest in the topic

              --identifying an issue

              --formulate your topic as a question

 

        Day 5: From Formulating to Developing a Thesis

                    --working vs definitive thesis

              --developing a working thesis

                     --solution model

                     --filling-the-gap model

                     --modifying others model

                     --hypothesis model

              --establishing a context for a thesis

报告人简介:英语博士, (Daniel D. Ding, PhD) 美国密执安州费理斯州立大学英语系终身功勋教授 (tenured meritorious professor)两种高端学术刊物的读稿人, 两个出版社高等院校教材鉴定人。美国“现代语言学会”及“应用文教学学会”会员。
